Pink Lotus

A double lotus petal on the bloom
It wasn't spring but I see it so soon
Never before such have eyes gazed a sight
I remember this vision all through the night
even through my dreams
its as if it always seems
That day and night
nature and blight
use the same pallet
to make their creations
throughout the world within every nation
whether destruction or life
both fight for strife
to conquer the other
however forgetting to love one another
for they live in unison
to the very end
from beginning of time
to the end of all time
nature ignores their strife
and continues its beauty
for all of humanity to see
